This video by Mad Moon Riot is amazing, because it's clever, hilarious, and makes you want to dance. It's just so meta. Basically, being in a relationship where the other person has given up and is just playing along, is like dragging around a corpse, trying to pretend everything is fine. The video is smart, sexy and rock'n'roll!

The band: Mia Von Glitz does a perfect job as the front woman of the band. Ru Hazell (drums) completely rocks his wig, Pou Paim shreds on lead guitar, and Matt Hitchens (bass) should be worshiped for writing such an intelligent song!

This video was definitely worth the wait.

This is a band that respects its audience, and doesn't treat us like idiots. That's why I appreciated the meta so much. Many times in a music video, it can be very obvious and uncreative with the visuals, almost always has no plot (at least in the videos of the past five years) and MMR went against that. It wasn't so abstract that no one would understand, and the relationship thing doesn't have to be romantic to relate to it. Matt has said that he wrote the song about a friend that was using, and kept saying they would change but didn't. It's about recognizing that the other person isn't into it, or will never change, and it's up to YOU to adapt.
