Certification

Sex & Nudity

  • Some brief snippets of sexual activity all in one scene VERY BRIEFLY--a man thrusts on top of a woman. One of these flashes shows the man's full backside as he thrusts between her legs.

Violence & Gore

  • Moderate R-rated violence.
  • The protagonist's kidney is stolen (mostly offscreen, although at some points we see very brief flashbacks of surgeons cutting into him, with some gory shots--nothing you wouldn't see on an episode of CSI).
  • A few shootouts take place throughout the film, although aside from some bloody CGI headshots, there is nothing particularly graphic shown.
  • Some moderate fist fights with blood occur, although like the shootouts, there is nothing all-out graphic, with the exception of a character getting a broken bottle in his neck.
  • An elderly man is hit with the butt of a shotgun--he goes down, but he lives.

Profanity

  • 3 "d" words
  • 1 "h" word
  • 1 "a" word
  • 2 "s" words
  • 2 usages of "bastard"
  • 6 "f" words
  • Very little language, this film should have been rated for some language as well as some sexuality

Spoilers

The Parents Guide items below may give away important plot points.

Sex & Nudity

  • Van Damme is seen naked for a few minutes near the beginning of the film. He's in a tub, gets out, and then walks across the room completely nude to get into a robe. He takes the robe off once he realizes his kidney is missing to see the wound in a mirror. Very briefly his butt is seen and his genitals are not visible.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • A man is tempted to kill a bed-ridden child with a shotgun, but is talked out of it.
