Roy and Grant (Cole and Morgan respectively) never filmed a scene together. Their shots were from different nights.
In the second of, Roy claims 'out of nowhere, the rain starts'. This had to do with the fact that the rain fell on only one night of filming (which was unplanned). The filmmakers improvised, and ultimately enjoyed this. The concept being (since there is no water on the ground shortly after) that the rain was in Roy's mind, symbolizing his possible fate, that all things are getting worse.
Trinity Scott was made up by a friend of hers in LA (whom is uncredited). She had her make up done, then drove down to Orange County to shoot.
Originally planned as the ending to a feature film, but the idea was scrapped when Clockwork (the film it's edited into) came about.
The short was conceptualized, written and shot in less than a month. It started out as a short story.
