Helping Hany is a stop-motion animation series that examines some of the psycho-social components of what it means to be a female with a bleeding disorder. We see our lead character Hannah Braswell (aka Hany) at different stages of her life coming up against various challenges presented to a woman with a bleeding disorder.—Patrick James Lynch
In AGE 7, Hany begins noticing how changes in her body affect her relationship to her BFF next door, Jeff. AGE 14, Hany learns about her diagnosis, von Willebrand disease. Jeff has a girlfriend. Being a teen ain't easy. AGE 17, Hany and Jeff go to the prom. She gets a nose bleed, but Jeff doesn't care. We are all beautifully unique.—Patrick James Lynch
