Warning: Spoilers
Every now and then on Switched at Birth, the show follows up on past stories, and characters, just to remind us that not only does the show reside in a living universe but also that no one on the show suffers memory loss. Leading to an episode where old personal issues are brought up, and some familiar faces are seen.

Topic 1: Under Pressure – Bay, Daphne, and Angelo

With Bay not getting into Pratt, it can be assumed she may end up going to college with Tank next season. Which, even with Toby's return from Iceland, leads to her being in a morose mood. Something Toby is quick to notice and, being the good big brother he is, he tries to find a way to bring his little sister to his level of glee. How you may ask? Well, by helping her do her own version of the northern lights on the side of a performance hall, with Kathryn's help. However, being that Bay still is a bit immature, when things go wrong she snaps at Kathryn and says she isn't a real writer, and being that writing is probably the first thing Kathryn has done in years to personally define herself, naturally she gets upset. But, being that only Travis doesn't get happy endings when it comes to family, all ends well for the Kennishs.

As for Daphne, with her deciding to go pre-med comes this immense pressure to get her SAT scores up so that she can get into a good school. And being that Daphne can get very intense when stressed, you can see her slowly starting to lose her mind. Thankfully though, Angelo comes and saves the day by reintroducing Daphne to her favorite de- stressor: baking. All the while showing Daphne his would-be restaurant and the two of them bonding over trying to figure out Angelo's grandma's cooking recipe.

But just as much as Daphne is stressing out, so is Angelo. For with Christine screwing him over, his restaurant is now in foreclosure and everything inside up for auction. And though the girls have their own worries, Angelo is dealing with his inability to not only find stability for himself, but also his inability to provide for his daughter(s) and be a good father.

And I should note that when he talks about his failures as a dad, he is likely only talking about being Daphne's dad. For, like Regina, he has little to no interaction with Bay. However, while his restaurant may have failed, he seemed to at least create a stronger relationship with Daphne since he became more active in her life. She even asks for them to take a picture together.

Topic 2: Corrupt Politics – Regina & Wes

With construction plans in full swing, it makes dealing with local politicians inevitable. However, one politician, former senator Coto, certainly wasn't expected. Especially by Regina who is not only uncomfortable with him being at the meeting, but with the meeting being about kickbacks to Coto, who is now part of the chamber of congress, and city council woman Tammy, she has fears about being a part of something illegal. Something Wes tries to placate. But with Regina being a bit adamant about them leaving the table, to keep himself on her good side he decides it is better to take the hard road. And in the process of telling her the reason why he walked away, you can see he has some sort of crush on Regina.

Topic 3: It Was All an Accident – Regina/ Angelo

Oh, and before I forget, Regina and Wes have their shooting session and now Regina lawfully owns a gun. Something important to note for after that disastrous meeting, Regina returns to K&D and finds "Liar" spray painted on her window. Making me wonder where is the security in this area? After all, I doubt when Whitney started the shop it was the type of area where people could just show up and do stuff without some sort of camera catching them. But I digress for the main point of mentioning the gun is because after Regina cleans off the spray paint and goes upstairs to wash her hands, Daphne and Angelo arrive because Daphne left her SAT prep book at K&D. And while Daphne announces to Regina she is there, she isn't heard. But when Daphne knocks things over, this does get caught by Regina's ear. So Regina yells out and Daphne doesn't respond because she is deaf, leading to Regina getting her gun and taking the safety off. Leading to a moment where Regina gets startled and has her gun pointed straight at Daphne's forehead.

Something which causes quite the ruckus, of which Angelo gets involved in, and the ruckus goes from focusing on Daphne's safety to Angelo and Regina's relationship. For with the topic of Wes getting her the gun comes the accusation of Regina cheating, and with that Regina goes in. She brings up Angelo abandoning her and Daphne, and then really hits him low by talking about how he also abandoned Abby. And with his restaurant failing, and him already feeling guilty about his parenting, he leaves the shop. But not before Daphne can make sure he isn't trying to leave her too. Which he assures her he isn't, it is just he needs time away from Regina.

Leading to the answer to who was in an accident at the beginning of the episode. Kathryn receives a call and you are almost sure it would be Toby, for him being written off isn't a big loss, but we find out it actually was Angelo he ended up in an accident. And as we see his body moved onto a gurney, with a dead look in his eyes, it seems like the end of his character.
