This one-reel documentary offers a view of London that seems rather fragmentary and poorly sorted. We look at some buildings, some parks, some children, and some palaces. While this is passing before the audience's eyes, narrator Laurence Gillam tells us random facts. He seems mildly bored and slightly woebegone about the entire matter, although what is bothering him remains a mystery. I think this Mr. Gillam was a BBC producer, responsible for the Christmas show that preceded the King's annual speech. If so, that seems to have weighed on his mind and he never did anything else associated with theatrical cinema.
For a short subject that was meant to play often and make money for its producers, it's an awfully dull piece.
