It's opening day, but frantic preparations to get the restaurant ready continue desperately. Chairs are bought from a fence, but Dylan's attempt to 'borrow' a van get most lost, only to find Tessa, whose former boss, chef Laurens, can't believe she left him for ex-cons, can get better delivered for free. A butcher delivers meat over date, and files an abuse complaint against Rik's hard-handed protest, which Halil gets the chef wriggled out by faking a potential racism charge. Former brother owner William sneaks in to recuperate his drugs stash, but is caught and roughed up by parole officer-crime boss Kerkhoffs' goons.

Car thief Dylan Vastenaken visits his father and brother Jorgen, who run a car sales firm in trouble due to a new competitor, grudgingly agrees to intimidate him, vandalizes his car but then changes his mind and turns on his kin. Turkish crime shrimp Halil is deeply disappointed to learn Dylan wasn't staking out the firm, even reconsiders his bossy sister's offer to buy him a ticket to start over in Istanbul. Nobody has a clue that murderer Berten De Nil, who innocently flirts with the garden center girl, plays a macabre game with a human skeleton worked into the restaurant scarecrow. Fraudster Mathieu keeps injuring himself so he can see his bitterly hostile ex, mother of his son, in ER, even now the staff knows. Dylan isn't allowed to bar entry to a sinister dinner guest, actually his on-off lover and secret informant handler cop, who blackmails him to spy on parole officer Kerkhofs, who believes like Rik his daughter Tessa's rape story, actually pay back for her violent abuse, and allows any revenge on his goon Tito, which Rik wisely abstains from, while Dylan records.

Matthieu having taken all the cash to buy his son a lavish birthday present but gambled it all away, the restaurant can't pay any meat, which would mean closing down indefinitely. Dylan, who has sex despite his doubts about an informer deal with a cop 'after her hours' to catch Alain, steals a cow, but that's no use. Tessa, whom Rik fired after learning she threw away a stars restaurant job to work for him, abuses her ex-lover Lauren's key to help herself to his best beef. Afer she claims being raped by Kerkhoff's goon Tito, the gang is allowed free revenge but Rik abstains from homicide.

Drug lord Kerkhoffs knows that Berten murdered his goon and demands a 'favor' to keep quiet, while in fact he wanted the foolish traitor eliminated anyway. While Halili revels 'finally' to get the gang in hard criminal action, Rik accepts the mission impossible; stealing from police custody the fortune in cocaine seized thanks to an anonymous shipment tip-off. Mathieu bails out as he finally hopes to see his son, only to be beaten up instead by his father in law. Dylan steals cop-lover Cathy Liebaert's detective ID but in order to use it, wearing uniforms provided by jail-escaped fence Lucien Goedertier, Rik must accept his daughter joins the gang, which pulls off a most daring plan.

The Amigos weren't pleased that Kerkhoffs forced them to temporarily take in a load of human traffic cargo, but soon take to the Syrian refugees who risk ending up in prostitution rather then dream destination England. The go to extreme lengths to save mother Jissy and kid son from the fiends' French customers. After everything else seems to fail, Dylan manipulates his cop lover brilliantly and Rick calls an ex-con kin marker.
