That was a wonderful send off episode, for both the season and Gibbs' father. It gave me both tears and laughs, while keeping me wanting for more. Time to break out the boxed sets until next season. It was also nice to see more realizations to some of Gibbs' more obscure characteristics, like his fascination with boats. His past is something that was always kept on the hush-hush, so it was great to see more of this hidden part of his life. It was beautiful and sad. The case they were working was interesting, with some nice trips into the past. There were pleasant introductions to new characters and even better to see some old, familiar faces. Overall, it was a pleasure to watch.

A good episode in it's own right, but...

I wish was more devoted to Jackson Gibbs & Ralph Waite instead of bringing in Rivera as the overused villain wanting revenge of Gibbs. It would have been better it they used more flashbacks and even used old footage from RW earlier days of acting.
