Like watching a bad episode of the bill
texxas-110 December 2018
Warning: Spoilers
A dirty cop (who can speak Polish for some reason) goes undercover to expose a human trafficking gang run by British born eastern Europeans. All the smugglers have British accents but all speak Polish. It's revealed that one guy goes to Poland and tricks young Polish women to fall in love with him, he then invites them to the UK to meet his family. The human trafficking gang are waiting on the other side to kidnap them. We see various pretty Polish girls in the back of a lorry being prepared to be forced into prostitution. I felt like I was being trolled into watching miserable filth. The film ends so abruptly with just one girl being found and all the traffickers shot dead. The whole thing was very boring.

Bloody UK crime flick
searchanddestroy-15 March 2017
The topic is not totally bad, nor the acting or the directing, but something is missing in this UK film. It is too confused and also too predictable, as usual for undercover cop, infiltrated heats stories. What is interesting is that it speaks of illegal migrants brought to England containers. Violent, brutal flick, with a horrible torture scene, and not only. The bad guys are worthwhile and the hero too. I have seen much worse than this film. Sincerely. I am surprised no one has commented it yet. Not bad but no more.

Baffling
Prismark1029 April 2017
Woeful Brit gangster film which thinks it can put the word Undercover in the title to garner an audience.

Widowed policeman Michael Clarke (Kris Johnson) is a suspended police officer known for his extreme violence, the undercover hooligan of the title.

Clarke is sent to infiltrate a notorious London gang chief Terence Turner (Patrick Connolly) involved in sex and drugs trafficking and bring him to justice. His only help is undercover cop DC Baker (Ali Bastian.)

The acting is pedestrian, the plot is disjointed, the action scenes are awful. A baffling film that made little sense.

Awful

Terribly unbelievable plot and dreadful acting make this a must miss.

The total lack of continuity makes it hard to believe and some of the characters seem to flit in and out with no real purpose. I felt like I'd wasted an evening watching this unfortunately.

It's another one of those "Gangster British" films that gives hope but delivers disappointment. Shame.

Yawn

I turned it off after half an hour as the cliched tough guy gangster thing has worn really thin for me. The actors were wooden, the story recycled. Plenty of better films in the genre which is not one I care for it just popped up for free on Amazon.

Script written on the back of a matchbox
bishysbus30 August 2021
This film has all the good intentions. The idea for the story is good. But it just doesn't come together and leaves you with a 'Why did he do that?' Feeling. Continuity is terrible. Dialogue and script is terrible. Actors are all trying to win Oscars but failing miserably.

Two ex-Bill actors who are totally under utilised. But with a script so poor and bad direction, they probably never stood a chance in any case.

Don't waste your time.

Another lousy British gangster movie
Leofwine_draca3 July 2018
Warning: Spoilers
UNDERCOVER HOOLIGAN is another lousy British gangster movie which randomly has the word 'hooligan' thrown into the title in a bid to make sales. There are no distinguishable cast members here and an undistinguishable plot to boot. The story is about a copper who goes undercover to bring down a violent criminal enterprise. Expect plenty of lunk-headed profanity and emoting from actors struggling a bit with their lines. The female supporting cast is more convincing than the Neanderthal leads, and the whole thing has a glum, cheap, digital look to it which makes it a dull watch.

Woefully poor effort

This is so low rent. Unbelievable and regurgitated plot, coupled this with a score of wooden actors resulting in a massive snoozefest. This was made on a budget and this instance it shows. I'd give this not just a miss but a wide berth.
