- Blood is seen on the girl's neck as she topples to the ground, but the imagery is deliberately out of focus and undetailed.
- For example there is a scene where a man's arm is chopped off. It is very graphic due to the fact that you can see the bone sticking surrounded by blood.
- The film contains strong but undetailed violence, in a fantasy style.
