Slice of life series following a group of high school girls are two a penny; each usually has its own gimmick though; in this case it is the inclusion of French exchange student Chloe Lemaire. Naturally she is interested in all things Japanese but equally naturally she often misunderstands things. While she is an important character the other members of her group of friends are just as important; indeed in some episodes she barely features. As expected in a slice of life series the girls go about their lives doing ordinary things with a few more dramatic moments towards the end.
This is a fun enough series although I suspect it will ultimately prove fairly forgettable amongst all the other similar series. The characters are fun to watch and Chloe's accent it distinctive and cute. I was surprised to learn that this was based on a dating sim game as there is no dating or as far as I can recall no mention of boyfriends. Equally there is no fan service to speak of which one might expect from a dating sim. Overall I'd say this is worth watching if you enjoy slice of life shows and want nothing that might be considered offensive.
