Satire and powerful

Warning: Spoilers
Whilst I'm not an avid and devoted fan of Eminem, still I think Without Me appeals to anyone even if they're not a fan. For me, it's the honest lyrics that are powerful, and also the video where Eminem pokes fun and satirical barbs against the sacred cows (e.g. Moby) and at the end when he dresses up as the arch-villain from 2001, well that was bold for sure and certainly controversial. But then again Eminem never shies away from controversy for sure, so you get what you get when you watch an Eminem video. Anyway, it's hard to believe Without Me was released 22 years ago, wow that's two decades ago.

Feels so empty without him Warning: Spoilers
The title of the almost 15-year-old "Eminem: Without Me" already describes perfectly what this is about. It is the five-minute music video by hip hop artist Eminem for his song "Without Me" and the contrast compared to "Stan", a previous work, could hardly be any bigger. It is bright, colorful, full of humour and joy, but it still offers some truths and lots of honest messages despite how absurd it may seem. I am of course talking mostly about the music video here in terms of how over the top it is, but the song is also very very weird as well, but in a positive way. Eminem shows us (and Dr. Dre) that he does not take himself seriously at all. people who watch this today may be genuinely confused, but that is only because Eminem is not really that famous anymore today and maybe they also do not understand all the references in here, last but not least the Bin Laden cave near the end. People who understand these may have a good time watching and listening too. It's relevant and catchy. I recommend it.
