Sure, the reenactments are like bad early 90s sitcoms and the effects are terrible, but the content is pretty good, and I thought they were pretty entertaining.
You know those terrible commercials with ridiculous reenactments and an announcer saying, "Has this ever happened to you?" Get ready for some of that. I loved it. There are some genuinely scary moments if you can get into it, though.
Each episode consists of three stories. The first episode of three was directed by Tobe Hooper (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre), and narrated by Leonard Nimoy. That got me hooked. They may be the best of the series, but I enjoyed them all.
Full of PG scares that even hardcore horror cheese fans will love, speaking as one.
