This was a great episode, with flashbacks too Damon and Stefan's pasts which are always fun and gives you more about them, the addition of chris wood is great here aswell.

You could say that It's just The Raven with his old song. Actresses make the show. Especially cute ones. I know how biased I am. But you gotta admit that this episode isn't exactly memorable. Even with that creepy end. Even with dreary old Paul Wesley getting knocked about a whole lot. There's no Caroline. Without Candice Accola or newcomer Penelope Marshal, aw, I just can't be bothered to have any, any buzz for this, and It's one of the episodes I've spent the shortest amount of time on in this series so far. It's not really bad, but from my point of view, it just underlines that the long-running show doesn't live up to its glory days (especially especially especially the halcyon days of Season 1) anymore... and never will.

Jeremy, Bonnie and Kai discuss next steps. Love Bonnie's overalls. Kai is from the Gemini Witch Coven who killed all his siblings in various ways. He shows no remorse and he can consume witch powers by touching the witch.
Elena and Stefan go to a restaurant together where they discuss moving forward. Stefan talks about how he had to reinvent himself - he was a mechanic, ambulance driver, high school student, etc. Every thirty years or so he would have to move and change because he doesn't age. Elena comments how difficult it is to not have a constant. For fun, Stefan pretends to propose to Elena in the restaurant and they act out an improv with Elena being pregnant.
Matt goes to Tripp where Tripp shows the building where Enzo is chained up.
Ivy shows up bloodied and hungry. She says Enzo made her drink his blood.
