It's one of those long promotional "studio tour" films that all studios turned out on occasion. Sometimes it was intended for theatrical audiences in those days when studios, distributors, and theater owners were all the same company. This one was intended for a convention attended by corporate staff. Given that Darryl F. Zanuck had been in charge less than a year, and that Fox had gone through five years of uninspiring movies, declining revenues, and financial losses, this was a chance to rally the troops.
Unfortunately, while Zanuck says all the right things, he says them like he is reading the words off a slate for the first time -- which he undoubtedly was. The rest of the movie is all right for this sort of movie: a look at the physical plant, the producers, directors, and writers, and extensive clips from upcoming movies.
