This is the first film that actually shows someone spitting on a grave (several times).
Camille Keaton said in a 2019 interview that she kept on writer-director Meir Zarchi for about 30-35 years saying, "Why don't you make a sequel to I Spit on Your Grave?" Finally she gave up, because it didn't happen. Then one day she got a phone call to star in this 2019 sequel.
Jamie Bernadette said she'd turned down nudity in the past, though she did show her bare behind in Elder Island (2016), yet this was her first onscreen full nudity. She agreed to do it because it was important in the film. But she also requested that the male stars show their butts onscreen too. Jeremy Feldman and Jonathan Peacy both agreed.
Released 40 years after the original film.
