Not Exactly A 'Battle'

Despite the chapter title sounding like an epic, action filled episode, it was actually more slower than the title suggests. Nonetheless, it was still a great episode that is unraveling things bit by bit for the inevitable finale. The action sequences were also great, as usual. And the fight between Korra and Kuvira was a great, albeit uneven match up. I'm sure soon we'll see the events of the plot unfold in the next few episodes because all we have right now is that Kuvira is the antagonist and has to be stopped.

I hope to see more of each character, including the air benders and also want the Avatar team reunite before the big finale, even though they probably will like in The Legend of Aang. Either way, Season 4 has been outstanding in it's way of storytelling and character development. I hope we're in for something special!

THEY DID IT!

Warning: Spoilers
The madlads! They actually did it! Even tho Korra is back, she's still not quite fully healed!

This is exactly what I've been begging for in my past reviews here!

I'm so excited because the stakes are now pretty darn high!

Terrible

Warning: Spoilers
Avatar legend of korra is just bad, bad dialogue, bad storyline, full on simping feminists. This episode is the epitome of bad writing. She got out of that swamp ready now suddenly she failed avatar state last second? There isn't a time where I was frustated watching Avatar Legend of Aang but this series has succeeded in that tremendously well.

Bored

Probably the worst episode of the whole Avatar series. No real stakes, no character development and a slow and predictable plot with an obvious and emotionless showdown. Often in ATLOK, the antagonist have good motivations that are wasted by the writers, uninterested in explaining why the antagonists in ATLOK have so many people following them. It's easier to just call them mad. That is not the case with Kulvira: a quite boring antagonist.
