There had been a few really good episodes up to this point already but this was the episode of Rebels which really started to more strongly show that real Star Wars magic and get juices flowing for an older fan. It really is a beautiful episode.

An inspiring Jedi training episode with a well known character's voice (no spoilers but it is a great voice cameo) bringing some guidance to Ezra and Kanan.

There is really good dialogue, really good promising ideas and really good character development.

This has some more dark and grown up aspects which makes it way more powerful for an adult fan.

My rating: 9/10.

the jedi way

This episode gave me some clone wars vibes, because this is an episode solely focused on Ezra and Kanan. It also reminded me of the Illum episode in TCW and the Yoda episodes in season 6. Ezra learns more about himself, and Yoda's voice as a guide was great because in Rebels, Kanan, the master has self-doubt. This was the first episode which I found pretty serious, because normally rebels revolves around a crew making their way in the galaxy by theft, and it is about how they don't comply with the empire.

I'm so glad that we are getting more episodes like this. The story is slowly unfolding and now, Kanan and Ezra has reached a milestone in their training. This episode showed them on a mission to a remote location, where Ezra had to face his biggest fears, and it is definitely the best episode so far. It didn't miss a beat. Everything felt quick and smooth and I felt like Ezra had yet another chance to grow as a character, as did Kanan, although not as much. This was also the first episode where I didn't miss the overall team, which might be due to me being too invested in the storyline that going on to really care about the rest of them. It felt almost like a horror flick at times, and all of the elements simply came together in a magical way to craft something that was masterfully executed. Big credits to everyone involved, as I almost didn't miss anything in this episode. It would have been quite nice if they had mixed up his hallucinations a bit, but that is really a nitpick. It was great, and to hear the return of a particular old friend was music to my ears, so I couldn't be happier about this episode.

Path of the Jedi

So i just finished watching this episode of Star Wars Rebels, it was amazing. SO far the show for me has been average but this episode changed a lot. The title explains what is to happen this episode. THe Path of the jedi. As Kanan continues to train Ezra on the path of becoming a Jedi, he also must train himself. In this episode both Master (?) and Padawan must learn to trust in themselves. The challenges Ezra must face are both exciting and interesting. This makes this series feel more like Star Wars. Getting an inside on what becoming Jedi is and what they must go through to become who they are. Plus an old Friend returns. Exciting

...which could mean either Ezra OR Kanan. Probably the best episode in the season so far. I dug all of the Jedi training/illusions, and a bit of a deeper dive (albeit a familiar one) into what it means to carve your own path toward something you want.

Also, loved hearing Yoda's voice. A pleasant surprise, that was, mhm.

Wow, what a great episode. I am glad that Ezra is getting character development rather than being a whiny kid. Always love the Inquisitor, he steals the show. Overall, a fantastic Jedi training episode with a familiar friend.

It gets better than this?!

This show embodies everything great about Star Wars, and I'm loving the respect it's giving to Yoda.

Paying homage to Episode 5 in all of the best ways, I can't wait to experience Ezra's path to becoming a Jedi.

Perfect Disney Wars!!

Warning: Spoilers
As true fans know the story, this ends up being 15 years after the clone wars end & nothing makes sense!!! This episode shows the lack of care in what has been done by GL!! Yoda is on gos swamp planet, alive & well at this point but this episode makes you think Yoda is gone!! He is talking to the kid & everything & if he was alive, that could not happen!!! FAILURE is what this is!!!
