Neil Flynn definitely belongs on the “That Guy” actor of the day list but I feel like people are starting to know his name more. Still though, if I were to just blindly ask you, “who’s Neil Flynn?” I’m guessing at least 80% of you wouldn’t know. So yeah, he qualifies. Perhaps Neil’s best role in his career is Janitor on Scrubs. Notice I didn’t say “the” Janitor. Though he is a janitor at Sacred Heart, he is rarely referred to as the janitor, but rather just called Janitor. Flynn was originally billed as a recurring guest star throughout Season

Musical TV shows like “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend” or “Glee” have a built-in understanding with audiences that bursting into a song or dance is part of the storytelling. When it comes to non-musical series, however, staging a musical number or episode can be a more challenging when it comes to finding an organic way to work it into the plot.
Recently, The CW’s superhero show “The Flash” and Syfy’s fantasy drama “The Magicians” dipped their toes into the world of musicals. “The Flash” tapped a character called Music Meister (Darren Criss) to knock out Kara and Barry (Melissa Benoit, Grant Gustin) and send them into an alternate reality, where they had to sing and dance their way to finding solutions. Six years ago, the sitcom “Scrubs,” about the lives of the employees at the fictional Sacred Heart teaching hospital, ended its run after nine years on the air, but in the age of revivals and reboots, shows are never truly finished anymore. Actor Zach Braff, who starred in the series as the whimsical intern-turned-attending-physician J.D., recently hinted that a “Scrubs” reunion could happen, especially in light of the recent returns of “Gilmore Girls” and “Full House” to Netflix.

Get me to Sacred Heart, stat! Recently a fan on Twitter asked Scrubs star Zach Braff if he has considered revisiting the popular hospital sitcom. Scrubs was cancelled by NBC in 2008, without a real TV series finale. Because the show was produced by ABC Studios, ABC picked up the eighth season, so creator Bill Lawrence could give the show a proper sendoff. The Alphabet Network even renewed the sitcom for a ninth and final season, but by then the original cast had largely moved on.Braff posted a video in reply in response to the fan's tweet. In it, the actor indicates he and his former colleagues talk about reviving Scrubs every once in a while. In short, Braff is game.

Actor Zach Braff received his first break as protagonist J.D. in the NBC medical sitcom “Scrubs,” about the lives of employees at Sacred Heart teaching hospital. The series garnered quite a bit of attention for its single-camera style (generally uncommon for sitcoms when “Scrubs” first aired in 2001), surreal vignettes, use of popular music, and its frequent tonal shifts. For his performance, Braff was nominated for an Emmy in 2005 and thrice nominated for a Golden Globe in 2005, 2006, and 2007.

It was a vicious crime that shook the Texas border town of McAllen in 1960. Irene Garza, a beloved 25-year-old schoolteacher and beauty queen, had been raped and murdered. The last place she was seen alive was at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, where she went into confession the night before Easter. Although police pursued several leads, the case went cold for 56 years. That changed on Feb. 9, 2016, when former priest John Feit, now 83, was arrested for Garza's murder. He now sits in a Texas jail with his bail set at $750,000.
