When the DEA raid in a restaurant do not find any drugs, Agent Gonzalez has an argument with the owner of the restaurant Steven Korbell and soon he is murdered. Abbott meets his former boss in Rio Bravo and presently the DEA leader Bill Peterson to collect data to help the investigation, but is blackmailed by Peterson that wants the credit for the results of the operation. Meanwhile, Patrick Jane finds that one DEA agent is a mole that tips Steven Korbell when there will any DEA operation and Abbott discloses his shady past in Rio Bravo to Patrick. He plots a plan with Abbott and the FBI agents to find the rogue agent.
"Green Light" is a good episode of "The Mentalist", with Abbott disclosing what he did in the past when he worked in Rio Bravo. Bill Peterson will probably disturb Abbott in the next episodes. The sense of observation of Patrick Jane in amazing. My vote is eight.
