Edward Hogg's character is at once believable as the seemingly bored, officious, jobsworth man from the council. With clip-board in hand he knocks on a door and from then on things take a decidedly different turn from the expected. Without revealing any of the plot, one obstacle after another gets in the way of him completing his task. All the cast were excellent and this was definitely a laugh out loud film short, which I would wholeheartedly recommend you take a look at. The film does leave you wondering, as the final shot really leaves The Man From The Council with a difficult dilemma. I'd really love to have seen how he got round that problem!
