- Anthony looks at Ian's crotch area in one scene. He looks up and Ian turns his head to meet Anthony's eyes with a confused look as he did not notice him looking. Ian begins to say the word 'What' but is cut off by Anthony saying nothing hastily. Ian looks away as if nothing has happened.
- Smosh is known for their crude sexual humor, so some of their jokes are quite over-the-top.
- We see a LOT of woman walk into a room wearing only bikinis and swim panties. They are suggested all as Anthony's girlfriends.
- The video in which Anthony uploaded shows him doing a backflip while singing with microphone. We learn that the microphone stand, after Anthony backflips, becomes lodged inside his anus. There are at least two references, three if so: The first is inside the video, the second is when Smosh is at YouTube headquarters, and the third is actually watching the video.
- The YouTube president tells Smosh that a portal is at the bottom of his desk. In reality, there is no portal, just a reference to which he lied to them to actually get them to see his penis. It is not seen, but is referenced, to which both are disgusted.
- There is a woman in a bikini, with cleavage shown.
- Anthony has a crush on Anna, and Ian tells him that if she sees the "microphone video", it will ruin him.
- There is a woman that Ian encounters on Youtube. Ian refers to her as 'Butt Massage Girl'. She is seen in the video on Youtube in a bikini and swim panties, getting butt massaged by a man. During the movie, Ian goes into Youtube where the man is now massaging his and her buttocks. He asks the woman if he made a comment on how good the employee is in massaging his anus, and she replies, "A little bit."
- When Ian and Anthony go into an arcade, there is a cabinet called 'Sex Simulator'
Violence & Gore

- Smosh's videos also have violence, with minimal gore and over-the-top use of blood. The violence is only used for comical purposes.
- There is 2 scenes I'm which a man knocks another man into a table with Fruit Punch and falls while another man accidentally drops glass bottles on the mans face. We see his face bleeding in one scene.
- We see man holding his torn off arm. We see blood but it looks fake.
- Ian is punched multiple times in the face and we see his nose bleeding.
- Anthony once uploaded a video of him accidentally backfliping onto a microphone stand while singing (Actual penetration is not shown, but the aftermath is vaguely seen, if so).
- While Ian is opening a door, a guy with hot beverages slams into the door, and the liquid spills onto his face, as he writhes and Ian laughed, stating that he had saw the "funniest thing I ever seen".
- While teleporting into YouTube, Smosh land on two people in a video (They are seemingly fine after).
- A cat explodes onscreen, while Smosh is staring (They are seen after with chunks of fur on their faces, but no gore).
- There is a scene where Ian encounters Anthony, singing with the microphone. What occurs after is a fighting scene between Prom Ian, Prom Anthony, Modern Ian, and Modern Anthony. After this occurs, everyone in the prom hall begins fighting. There is no blood or gore, and the violence is comical.
- At the beginning of the movie, Ian and Anthony go into the arcade, where they see the cabinet 'Magic Pocket Slave Monsters'. Then a small animated clip follows, which shows the trainer and his pet. The trainer then says "I choose you against your will!" and whips the pet twice. No blood is shown, but the bruise can be seen on the pet's face. The trainer then says "Now go out there and murder your friends!" There is no actual violence or gore, but the action 'Murder' is referenced.

- There is a moment when Ian and Anthony appear in a Youtube Video, and run away from a Gorilla with a chainsaw. Although the scene is meant to be humourous, it could be frightning for children.

- At the end of the movie in an after credit scene, Ian and Butt Massage Girl (Brad) are getting married and they both claim they have a "boner"
- In a deleted scene, Shane Dawson (another big YouTuber) comes out of the 'Sex Simulator' saying he doesn't know how to use it, as he had it in his buttocks. A few seconds later he comes out and says he was supposed to put his penis in it.
