Average film worth seeing for archival footage

The original footage of the queen's visit was great and interesting to see scenes of Australia and people in 1950s. I pity the queen having to sit through so many "performances"! I found the commentary and the additional fairy tale story telling banal. The 70 minutes felt like 2 hours. It was of interest how and why the queen's visit caught the interest of so many people however I don't think this was explored in any depth. In fact nothing was explored to any depth it was quite a superficial documentary. However as stated previously the archival film of the visit made this film worth seeing. I imagine the film would be of great interest to those who were around in the day and remember the queen's visit. Surely there was more archival photographs and films that could have been used rather than pad it out with Bert Newton's commentary and Loraine Bailey's fairy tale which did nothing to add to the film.
