- The episode picks up where the last one left off. The first scene in the episode is very intense and creepy as the skeleton/zombie army chase two characters through the woods. It is violent at times but not graphically so.
- A boy has visions of things that have happened throughout the series, including a woman about to have her throat slit, a man about to be beheaded, a baby about to be turned into a White Walker, etc. While these brief shots don't depict any of the actual graphic violence, it is still unsettling, particularly because it brings back memories of some tragic and disturbing things that have happened to various characters in the series.
- A man makes a 360-degree cut around the face of a dead man and begins to peel the skin of his face off. Brief but graphic, as we see two glimpses of this up close, and then a shot of him pulling the entire face off in the background.
- A stage play reenacts the poisoning of one character and the death of another character by crossbow. More humorous than anything. No one is hurt.
- A character is briefly stabbed in the back in a quick flashback.
- A man skins a rabbit. Some blood and animal guts are seen briefly.
