The funniest one of them all.

This one is more lighthearted. The Song is so catchy that even the darkest part of the video, still has a hint of chuckles.

3: I LOVE this one

This is a really nice episode. I think that the ending especially with the cult is fantastic, and ignore the random gore that appears to be a necessity in this series and you've got yourself a perfect episode.

Some of the one liners in this one are hilarious, and near the end the song is frickin great.

Poor Michael.

Warning: Spoilers
The horror keeps on coming in 'Don't Hug Me I'm Scared 3 (2014)'. This one has the least catchy tune, and is generally more lighthearted than its peers. However, this is actually relevant to its underlying theme (mild thematic spoilers to follow). The short purports to be about love, but it's actually about a cult using the promise of love to lure Yellow Guy into joining them. They prey on his loneliness and promise a solution to it, eventually telling him that all he has to do is "change (his) name and clean (his) brain and forget about everything (he) ever knew". The horror isn't as overt as in the prior outings, but the song's message is just as sinister. The short's satire is no less biting, either. It's an enjoyable piece that slowly unravels to reveal its dark underbelly. It's probably the weakest in the series, but it's still good. 8/10.

Not the best one out of all of them. The song wasn't that good. I still don't know what came out of the egg at the thing. Strange...

Not among the series' worst, but that doesn't mean it was a good watch

Warning: Spoilers
"Don't Hug Me I'm Scared 3" is as the title already suggests the third installment of the DHMIS animated short film series and this one is from October 2014, so it is not that old actually. Pelling and Sloan from Britain made it just like the other entries to this series that still goes on today. And they also did some of the voice acting. This third film is longer than the previous two, actually almost as long as these two taken together. In terms of the quality, I think this is the forth of these films I have seen and 2 were really really bad and one was weak and this one here joins the weak category I would say. It is once again a dark spoof of animated children's television and it deals with the subjects of love, loneliness and also a gravel eating monster. A deity? I am not sure. Anyway, the entire thing is spiced up with music that can only be categorized as creepy. I can see some creativity in here, but honestly not too much. Not to a degree where I would recommend the watch. The only reason why I am not entirely negative here is because some films from the series (think 2 and 6) are definitely worse. But number 3 gets a thumbs-down nonetheless, despite the millions of views on Youtube. Don't watch.
