"Assassin Banana" is an animated 3-part mini series from this year and runs for a total of roughly 20 minutes (25 with credits). It basically has the title character mourn the death of his sweetheart initially and then he tries to kill himself and then he decides to go against the evil Dr. Tomato. The story is pretty absurd, but funny many times. Sometimes, it's not so funny, but it's never cringeworthy or bad. This movie works nicely thanks to the great voice performances of the cast. Scarlett Johansson is the big star in here, even if she only appears in episodes 2 and 3, but Nathan Fillion, who voices the main character, Will Sasso and Alan Tudyk aren't nobodies either. This is like VeggieTales gone bad, but not in terms of quality. More in terms of bad-ass. Solid watch and if you like political incorrectness as much as I do, I recommend it.
