Storyline
Did you know
- TriviaWhen Oliver is chasing the drug dealer in the flashback, a billboard can be seen behind him that reads "In brightest day, in darkest night, come to Coast City when money's tight". This is an obvious play on the famous Green Lantern Corps oath; "In brightest day, in blackest night, No evil shall escape my sight. Let those who worship evil's might, Beware my power, Green Lantern's light!"). Coast City is the home of Hal Jordan, the most popular Green Lantern in the comics.
- GoofsWhen Oliver is forced to do a HALO jump by ARGUS in order to infiltrate Lian Yu he has no oxygen. HALO jumps are made from altitudes of 25,000 feet and above and military personnel always use oxygen bottles when doing them. In reality Oliver would have lost consciousness shortly after exiting the plane.
- Quotes
Black Canary: Speedy, behind you!
Speedy: [turns around to take out a mercenary] I thought I told you guys to call me Red Arrow.
John Diggle: A red arrow just means you can't make a left turn.

hmm
I was excited to see the new episode although i must admit that already 10 min in and got disappointed. I cringed so much in last season with laurel trying to be a "hero", I just couldn't see it then, and this episode only confirms that even more.. She makes me cringe every time she has a scene, and thea is kinda of the same although i get & enjoy her role more than laurels. I mean this "change" that Laurel have been through just seems so dumb & weird. To me its makes little to no sense to make her a main character in the first place. Honestly I just hope they cut her out of the series soon. I can't take more of this feminism trip, where the every woman have to be some some kinda masculine fighter to portray gender equality. I just can't buy into it. The rest of the episode was episode was awesome though, i'm looking forward to another good season, but please stop making every freaking character into a hero.
