Fun

This episode is a lot of fun. Where previous episodes seemed to lean towards gross out humour which is a lot of fun, this episode really played up the spoof humour.

"Scream Queens" Isn't Yet Stifling, to the Contrary, Grows Like An "Erection"

After three unexpected good episodes, the show set new mythologies, while maintain the sense of black humor and its imitation of teen horror movies. Also, it may be noted that the series is very influenced by elements of today's pop culture and other popular references (opening scene). There are many important characters in the TV Show, this time Emma Roberts, Jamie Lee Curtis, Lea Michele and Keke Palmer were the lamps which lit up the abnormal scenery.

This "Scream Queens" Review contains spoilers. If you have not seen "Haunted House" episode, please, do not read, this could destroy it.

Definitely, the best opening scene, "Chanel-o-ween" (a mockery Taylor Swift's work in 2014) is a proof the originality and the infinity of ideas on the part of the scriptwriters to viewers. Emma is the protagonist, her selfless, selfish, satirical and rude attitude has not changed (energy that many characters have begun to lose) being a cocky diva loved by everyone. Everything revolves around her, but at the same time not. Her comments, attitudes, mannerisms, expressions and thoughts make of this girl a real singularity within the comedy television world.

"SQ" is trying to be many things. And, in some way is achieving it. In addition to satirize youth movies in genres of horror and comedy, also, they try to delve into female relationships within area. The bout at the luncheon of the Channels is a metaphor to the few opportunities of the genre female in audiovisual projects, though, it can be seen as a revolution against of the male chauvinism , in summary, they want to give the importance to women that they deserve, omitting all those words and taunts that the girls are throwing between them, that a great comical point.

One appreciable advantage of the series is its ability to constantly amaze with plot twists well designed and impressive preambles to expose them. Whenever it emits a chapter more, the show delves more into its history, instead of go to the real search of the murderer. The discovery of this week is Gigi Caldwell (Nasim Pedrad), she is our former Kappa Kappa Tau, revealing she may be either one of the murderers or the mastermind behind the facts. In addition, we can see a funny and short flashback of Denise H. wanting to enter the sisterhood, chased her out of the house - by her way of dressing -, creating a resentment of her for the fraternity, one theory quite stupid, but funny. We can also see versions younger to Gigi, Mandy, Dean Cathy Munsch and the servant Jan Hoag, perhaps all are forming a plot. Theories and hypotheses always originate in the first episodes of a serial slasher.

It is still very early to find to a guilty, it is for that reason that killers candidates in recent chapters tend not to be the real killers, the foregoing is to refer us to the Dean of the University. Every week, all lead us to her, she hides something dark, weekly, revealing bit to bit her mysteries, and although, she is not the killer, has a lot between hands. Previously, I had mentioned that they haven't exploited much this professional actress, good tactic, since in later episodes, we'll see fully who is and what want.

"Scream Queens" is the wager comical of the year. The most amusing (but absurd) that I've seen for months in TV schedule. Although the show is aimed at the public youth - by its current and popular references - anyone who enjoys a good sense of humor, enjoyed with Fox's work. It must keep growing, innovating and surprising, since this is what has kept it on the surface. The series still shuts up many mouths. This week is projected an episode with more discoveries than "Chainsaw" but contains the same essence and inherence of the pilot.
