Comedy, Music, and Patriotic Fervor
bkoganbing11 May 2017
Kay Kyser and his band which was enormously popular in the Forties hosts this musical short with plenty of comedy, music, and good old patriotic fervor.

In 1951 Kyser who was still at the top of his game just walked away from it and lived quietly in his native Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Going with him was Georgia Carroll, band vocalist also Mrs. Kyser.

We see them all here including male vocalist Harry Babbitt, comic Ish Kabibble and guest stars like Jerry Colonna, Mel Blanc, Lucille Ball and Linda Darnell.

GI Journal a nice trip back to the musical and comic side of the 40s.
