Good pace and heaven

I don't like what they did to heaven but well they had to the door thing, heaven in S5 was way better and so was hell in S3 but they had to do the doors and cells thing and i can't blame them for it. Rowena storyline also is good.

It is always good to see Bobby

I liked the Bobby side of the story more in this episode. Jim Beaver is a great feature of the show and I am glad that the writers found an organic way to include him. I think the heaven sections could have been built out more. I am less fond of the Rowena section. While amusing to see the bickering with Crowley as well as the frenemy elements with the Winchesters I don't think this plot adds much the season overall in terms of theme, or resonances. It is all just too much alliances moving around.

Warning: Spoilers
When a long running show, choses to hire fanboys and fan girls, to run it and write the new episodes. Supernatural is unwatchable now. I made it to season thirteen the first time around, only now I am just over all the fan service writing and every little nods to each fandoms. The characters don't even make sense anymore. And I am sick of the way writers want us to care for the bad guys. I don't, and never will. Because it defeats the purpose of having heroes to fight them. So I feel that meta comment, Bobby made there. I miss the time where the show had focus. A beginning, a middle and an end. Now it's just ideas thrown to the wall, and see which one will stick. I find it unpleasant and it makes me lose patience. I think the main arcs are weak, and the standalone episodes are ripping off other fantasy/horror shows « monsters ». Originality completely left the room this season. And what's with all the Jawbreaker references? Isn't it a bit too odd? The opening scene of « inside Man » made the episode look interesting. But what's the point in caring about anything, if nothing is finale? And the most ridiculous thing about it, is how some characters die, and never come back. While others keep popping up once in a while. Writers way of milking viewers suspension of disbelief, is what made this series so tedious after a while. And as far as season 10 is concerned, it does not even have good vilains to keep you invested until the finale.
