The Jennings deal with the fall out from the previous episode.
I enjoyed this one for the character development and performances.
There are a lot of plot threads in series three and this episodes covers quite a few of them and feels like it's setting the scene ready for a dramatic finish.
Since previous events, Elizabeth seems different and her scenes both with and without Paige were the most intriguing. The other plot threads involve the usual moments of manipulation, scheming and potential betrayal. Much like Anton, everyone is seemingly stuck like prisoners in difficult situations and I'm guessing there will be some memorable drama as characters address these predicaments in the upcoming episodes.
This one doesn't have the same shock power as the past few episodes, but it is necessary to develop characters in the right way for whatever dramatic moments are due to come. If you are interested in the lead characters and how their attitudes might be changing towards their duties, this is an excellent one for Elizabeth.
All production values are as great as ever and performances are utterly compelling, particularly Keri Russell.
