What a freaking episode, that ending was insane very red wedding like, Kai showing how much of a great villain he is, all leading into a big finale.

They continue to show how the writers should never work in movies and television again!! They keep talking about Damon taking the "cure" to vampirism and become human again. They forget about Kathrine taking the first cute?? Kathrine took the cure and did not last but what, three months before extreme old age caught up with her? They make it out like an over 160 year old could survive and have a long life with Elana!!
Then you have Jo's twin brother Corning back from his prison realm to be invisible while stabbing her!! Can it not get more pathetic? They should have just truly kept to the books!!

Alaric and Jo's Wedding Day

Jo is freaking out because the wedding is in a few hours. Her wedding planner is sick so Caroline volunteers to fill in. She instructs everyone on what to do and how to solve their problems. She tells Bonnie the on button for the steamer is at the back and she sees Jo's heels under the couch.
Caroline checks in on the guys. We see Tyler, Matt and Alaric in a room and one announces the tuxes are ready.
Stefan makes Damon go on a trip with him to a property he was residing in while he was grieving over Damon. Stefan makes very realistic points and tells statistics to convince Damon that becoming human is his worst nightmare. As a human you cannot compel anyone to get through paperwork and to get what you want. There are taxes, kids, jobs in order to earn money. Stefan says he will not give Damon money. Damon is still convinced he wants to become human and shows a page of a property he looked into. It has a bar and is next to a medical school. Stefan gets into Damon's mind to show what their future might be like. We see Elena in residency, coming home wanting to go to sleep. Flash forward a few more years and she defends herself when Damon mentions her unaffectionate behaviour. She says she finished residency and is working on building her career while he is just working the bar and coming home drunk. He said she wanted him to do so and she replies just to work not to get drunk. Damon asks what else is he supposed to do in a career and she says she doesn't know.
Jo is in the dressing room in a robe with her beige bra peeking out at the centre when her dad comes in asking to walk her down the aisle. Elena looks stunning in her bridesmaid dress and straight hair. Jo walks in and looks beautiful. Bonnie and Matt are withering downstairs at the Salvatores' residence from some unknown cause.
During Jo's vows, blood starts showing on her belly and Kai appears. He makes a piercing sound ring in everyone's ears then shatters the glass windows and chandelier. We see Elena fall unconscious.
