- Rash and Stefan follow-up on leads that take one to a funeral and the other to a swanky London hotel. Still unaware that they are investigating the same case they are drawn into a lethal conspiracy.
- As government drugs advisor Peter Mayhew is quizzed over his championing Remicon's production of anti-obesity drug Lipocite over the American firm Ruhn's cheaper version Rash finally convinces his superiors that Laura Jones' recent death was murder and they attend her funeral to locate the other Indian drugs volunteers. Ruhn CEO Coleman Blake also sends his employee, nervous Bruce Lockwood, another of the volunteers, to the funeral where he gives Rash the names of unstable Henry Williams and David Leese. Unaware that Mayhew has a spy in his department Stephan attends the Lipocite launch party, where he is drugged and ejected, being saved by Rash from being run over. When both Rash and Stephan turn up at Henry Williams' house they realize that they are involved in the same investigation.—don @ minifie-1
- The rival British, government-liked and US pharmaceutical company top executives plot against each-other. Rash convinces their boss, despite Sands' skepticism, that Laura Jones didn't just fall before he could catch up but was pushed, as security videos later confirm, so they work on his theory the Indian travel mates are being killed off, only the only tow survivors they find aren't helpful, even identifying the last one, Henry Williams, who lost another job in a frenzy and realizes he pushed Laura, whose funeral proved useful. Rash's sister found a great potential roommate for him, but he can't get there, having to look after errant apparent drunk Stefan, who vomits over Rash and ends on his couch flirting while she nurses him, before they discover being both policemen on confidential assignments. Stefan was actually undercover again at a fancy party to promote the most lucrative drug, and was deliberately drugged by spiked luxury champagne, suffering extreme nightmarish episodes. His roommates antagonize landlord Menakis, who wants to expel them for nuisance and legally can for rent arrears Stefan didn't know about, yet he resists the romantic move of a police HQ colleague who cooked for him but is actually a pharma spy, like the one India survivor who now has an executive post but resents having to lie to the police, which yields a flashy company car.—KGF Vissers
