New Blood established itself as a swanky mismatched buddy law enforcement series. Although at the moment the two leads do not like each other and not yet realised that their cases are connected.
David Leese the executive at the pharmaceutical company where Stefan is working undercover is in some way connected to Rash's murder investigation. Stefan has been rumbled and surreptitiously drugged by a company rep at a party. He feels euphoric and weird and nearly gets run down by a bus until Rash saves him and who just also happen to be on the way to this party.
Stefan spends the night on Rash's sofa and both reveal a little about their jobs but not what they are investigating. Rash is also not too pleased that Stefan has taken a shine with his sister.
By the end of the episode when coincidentally they both come knocking on a suspect's house and have to give chase, they twig that they have more in common.
A polished episode, fast paced but for me it does not quiet fly. You can see these two spiky characters are going to become friends.
