This series just get better and better!Series 1 was very good as it built, episode by episode, a strong character base. Lay thee before Kings is a powerful and intricate piece of writing with the actors giving very convincing portrayals to the main characters which leaves you watching with mixed emotions. There are artful flashbacks of the two Archangels which dredge up their complex and sometimes harrowing past which give an insightful and deeper understanding as to how and why they act and think as they do in the present. Gripping, sad and touching {with a hint of very clever humour}, an episode which even dares to {successfully}, dip a toe into Biblical storytelling with a 'Dominion' twist.

Different side to the archangel

I love this episode it shows a different side to Gabriel that we never get to see. The complex characters is what makes this show worth watching. Although I can't say much about what happens in this episode without spoiling it for the others. I want to say that if you like supernatural, angels, and complex story lines than this show is for you. This show grows on people each episode. New adventures and characters we meet. The only complain I have are the aborted story plots they introduced in season 1. Other than that I have faith the writers. I just know this show will continue to Syfy best show. Hopes for more seasons to come!
