Demi Lovato is all about female empowerment, and she's determined to keep it that way. The singer took to Instagram on Monday to clear up rumors that she threw "shade" at Taylor Swift after the "Bad Blood" singer donated $250,000 to help Kesha through her heartbreaking lawsuit against Dr. Luke. Demi, who has always been outspoken about women's rights and issues, appeared to call Taylor out for her donation rather than actually speaking up about the issue. But after Taylor's fans criticized Demi for her comments, she clarified her intentions to simply raise more awareness in a powerful social media post. Alongside a graphic that illustrates just how few rape cases get reported, Demi wrote: "As most people know, I tend to get fired up about the things I believe in, and although my heart and intentions are always in the right place, unfortunately sometimes my passion gets the best of...

The 2016 Grammys belonged to Taylor Swift. The pop star was nominated in seven categories and won three awards: Album of the Year (1989), Best Pop Vocal Album (1989) and Best Music Video ("Bad Blood" feat. Kendrick Lamar). Taylor marked the occasion by hitting up a number of after-parties with her date for the night, Selena Gomez. Joined by Taylor's brother and parents, they first hit up Universal Music Group's 2016 Grammys after-party, held inside The Theater at Ace Hotel. "Everyone lost their minds when they walked in and swarmed the area," a source tells E! Taylor Swift can't be put into a musical box. Her evolution from country music's favorite darling to pop music's fiercest competitor is just one example of that. The Grammys and the VMAs don't always see eye-to-eye, so while Vma champs like Madonna's "Ray of Light" (1998) and Eminem's "Without Me" (2002) have won the Music Video Grammy, several others have been favored by the recording academy despite being mostly or entirely skunked by MTV, like Johnny Cash's "God's Gonna Cut You Down" (2007) Weezer's "Pork and Beans" (2008) and the Black Eyed Peas' "Boom Boom Pow" (2009). ...'...

After seeing previews of Kevin Hart and Olivia Munn's epic Lip Sync Battle performances earlier this week, it was obvious things were going to get interesting on this week's episode, and they didn't disappoint. Kevin went back to the '90s when he brought a whole crew of backup dancers on stage to help him perform Onyx's hardcore rap "Slam." Although it was ridiculously entertaining, Olivia's epic rendition of Taylor Swift's "Bad Blood" was the night's real winner. The X-Men: Apocalypse actress invited supermodel Chanel Iman and Taylor's real-life squad member Jaime King on stage for the performance, and they killed it. Watch all the action above, and then check out Beyoncé's surprise appearance during Channing Tatum's episode.

Why does it never fail to water our eyes when Vin Diesel honors Paul Walker? He did it again last night at the People's Choice Awards, when giving a lengthy acceptance speech for "Furious 7," which won two awards. Vin name dropped the late actor, whom he has called his brother, and at the end of the speech he sang a verse from the film's end song, "See You Again."
Here's his full speech:

The PCAs are sort of the start of awards season, but things don't really kick off until this Sunday's Golden Globes. There was a stage-crasher promoting a new album (that's him below), and Dakota Johnson talked about her boobs, but otherwise the 2016 PCAs just stuck with the tradition of honoring celebs...

Not so fast! Though Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris appear to be happier than ever - remember those envy-inducing holiday snaps? - the two are not living together. On Monday, a report claimed the duo recently moved into the DJ's home, but a spokesperson for Swift tells People "they are absolutely not living together.” Over the holidays, the cute couple spent time with Swift's family in Vail, Colorado, where they built a snowman with the singer's younger brother Austin. And on New Year's Eve, Swift was spotted cheering on her boyfriend while he performed at Omnia nightclub in Las Vegas.

[Brightcove "4673406482001"] We've made it past the holidays and are now sitting on the very end of 2015, hopeful for the new year and all the possibilities it will bring. However, there are decisions we can make to ensure that this new year is a good year. Let's start by putting to rest some of the annoying stuff we didn't need in 2015. 1. The man bunIs 2015 going to be remembered as the year a handful of guys decided to pile their hair on top of their head with reckless disregard for whether they had long enough locks to even attempt such a hairstyle?
