Nothing much happens in No Activity but talk. Maybe that is the point.
This Australian comedy series might have been inspired by long drawn out conversation scenes from those Quentin Tarantino films. Maybe it is inspired by something domestically British such as the Caroline Aherne series The Royle Family.
Detectives Hendy and Stokes are in their police car on a long stakeout. They have a dolphin in the back seat and they talk to each other and to the control room on the police radio.
Conversation tends to be crude such as which hand a Siamese twin would use to jerk off with.
There is some action at the end but can it be classified as a comedy? I didn't laugh once.
I ended up rewatching the first episode as I liked Colin from Accounts by Patrick Brammall. My oritigam opinion stands but I'll give the second episode a chance.
