Sex & Nudity

Violence & Gore

  • The game is based on humans fighting aliens and fighting them with guns and/or melee. Blood is seen when fighting a certain species (Locust). The Locusts resemble a gorilla/lizard hybrid and are quite similar to the Halo enemies. When shot, small amounts of dark red blood splatters. Some weapons such as shotguns can generate more blood from Locusts. As said before, this game is violent, but compared to much more morally violent games like GTA, the violence is not nearly on that level. Anyone who has played Halo 1-3, Call of Duty, or The Last of Us should have no issue with this game.

Profanity

  • There is swearing in the game but not on the level of any Tarintino film. The swears can range from hell to sh*t but are not overused. They can be used as insults to the enemy, but never in a sexual manner. Should be fine for poeple who have heard the words.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • One of the characters smokes ciggarettes which may be a mixed signal for younger children.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The main antogonist, General Raam, is very intimidating and may be scary for young children.
  • Very intense looking aliens. They run at you and roar. One scene shows a larger type alien known as the "Berserker" who runs at you blindly from your footsteps. The scene is creepy and is quiet as well.
