The original short film script was written as a funny joke by Nathan W. Burgun for two acting friends Jami Haber and Jesse Phillips. As the script made its way around the local film community, more and more filmmakers were signing on to film, leading Nathan to take over as Producer, with Jami Co-Producing to turn the joke script into an actual film. As Pre-Production started, jokes were circulating of other adventures the duo could get into, and head writer Nathan W. Burgun began taking the ideas and running with them as optional additional episodes. As the episodes were growing in popularity amongst the crew the short film evolved into a web series, with the crew rushing to find funding for the following episodes.
When the film was turned into a series, most of the crew felt that the 2nd and 3rd episodes were better and funnier than the 1st episode. However, there was only enough in the budget for one episode at the time, and the producers agreed that the 1st episode was more appropriate being that it introduced the characters, where the others picked up mid story-line.
Though many of the crew offered to work without pay for the first episode, Producer Nathan W. Burgun wouldn't green light the project unless everyone could be reimbursed and they could find funding to do so. However, the crew refused to let up and convinced Nathan to go ahead begin production as long as enough funding could be found for follow up episodes to pay his crew for any further productions. The continuation of the series is based solely on the fact of whether or not the Producers can afford to pay crew members for their hard work.
