With how many major festivals are already announcing their lineups, it’s already starting to feel like 2016 for those of us in the electronic music community. Case in point: It’s not even Thanksgiving and Firefly Music Festival has revealed an entertainment roster for its 2016 edition that provides music fans of all shapes and sizes with plenty of incentive to make the trip to Dover, Delaware.
Really quickly, though, can we talk about the dance music talent on this edition’s bill? It’s not just any festival where you can catch deadmau5, Disclosure, Major Lazer, Porter Robinson and Tchami – in addition to more obscure names like Hippie Sabotage and Moon Taxi. While last year’s edition featured the likes of Zedd, Steve Aoki and Kygo at the top of the bill, it’s safe to say Firefly Music Festival has stepped things up for next year’s festivities.
