All the Paths Lead to Golding
claudio_carvalho29 May 2023
A half-naked man with bruises is on a bridge crying for help and causing a traffic jam. When the police officers come, they use the taser to stop the man, but he burns out since he is soaked with gasoline. Harry and Suri go to the hospital, he says Golding and dies. Harry finds a partially burnt credit card, and he finds the owner, the wealthy student Indira Kamal. They head to her apartment and finds Indira with her boyfriend Jed Hartley, who identifies the victim as the Swedish student Anton. They go to Anton's apartment and soon they learn that Jed and him are tricksters that lure wealthy students. Harry finds a watch with an inscription to the Russian student Sasha from Golding. Now he has another lead to find who Golding might be.

"The Charm Offensive" is another episode of "Lucky Man" that goes nowhere. Suri fainting when he is going to arrest Jed is a terrible cliché. Golding seems to be omnipresent and the plot with Lily-Anne seems to have been forgotten by the writers. My vote is six.
