Well, to start off, the other Wattersons should know that Richard was too stupid to be trusted with keeping their money in an offshore bank account, but that is the least of this episode's problem. The real problem is that even though the Wattersons could be un-broke if they did the Joyful Burger commercial, Gumball keeps insisting that they not "sell out" and become cliches of themselves, even though they already have nothing else to sell out! It gets to the point where one would declare Gumball legally insane for thinking they can just use their imaginations to survive with no money, and Richard, the dot father who just lost all their money, is making the most sense when he says "Just because you take their money doesn't make you a corporate puppet with no voice of your own." I will admit, the show losing its animation budget was a nice touch, and not something I saw before when Chowder did this plot in The Shopping Spree ("No more money means...no animation!"), but that is the only good moment of this episode.
