When Riley is talking to her mother, a poster is displayed on the wall of the Eden Prairie Prairie Dogs. Eden Prairie is a real town in Minnesota with a top-ranked hockey program, although they're called the Eagles, not the Prairie Dogs.
Each of Riley's emotions has minimal dialogue in this short. Most of them only have one line. They are as follows: Joy: "Did she just say 'Fo Sheezy?'" Sadness: "I don't understand. What's happening?" Disgust: "Ugh! This is just embarrassing! I can't! I can't!" Anger: "Stop talking like that!" Fear: "Wait! Where's Jordan?"
