I really like how this episode had all 3 of the main vigilantes for this season making big strides towards their goals. Elektra is confronting Stick, Punisher nearly got to Blacksmith, and Daredevil did the same. Each of them have been on different paths for obviously different reasons, but they have come to a forefront in this episode.
We wrapped up the haunting events from the hospital from last episode as Claire barely escaped death as one of her co-workers was stabbed just as Daredevil came in to stop the henchman for The Hand. With the hospital wanting to make sure the events and mishaps were covered up, Claire decided to walk out of the job completely. Could this be some sort of indication she will appear full time on The Defenders as their own nurse?
Foggy was mostly sidelined in this episode with his only real scene being with Marci visiting him in the hospital. And with her encouraging him to look elsewhere than Nelson & Murdock, I think it's safe to assume that firm is finished for now. Karen also expressed interest in moving on from such a job, further showcasing just how "in over his head" Matt currently is.
I think that's part of where this episode and this season is losing me. I'm still invested in everything that's going on, but there comes a point where there is just too much happening to create one cohesive story. Plus, with the further revelations with Stick and the ongoing Punisher conflict, it really makes me wonder how they will end this season. Only one way to find out.
+More Punisher/Daredevil conflict
+Elektra v Stick
-A lot going on can get overwhelmingly
8.2/10
