The Path You've Chosen
ThomasDrufke12 April 2016
I really like how this episode had all 3 of the main vigilantes for this season making big strides towards their goals. Elektra is confronting Stick, Punisher nearly got to Blacksmith, and Daredevil did the same. Each of them have been on different paths for obviously different reasons, but they have come to a forefront in this episode.

We wrapped up the haunting events from the hospital from last episode as Claire barely escaped death as one of her co-workers was stabbed just as Daredevil came in to stop the henchman for The Hand. With the hospital wanting to make sure the events and mishaps were covered up, Claire decided to walk out of the job completely. Could this be some sort of indication she will appear full time on The Defenders as their own nurse?

Foggy was mostly sidelined in this episode with his only real scene being with Marci visiting him in the hospital. And with her encouraging him to look elsewhere than Nelson & Murdock, I think it's safe to assume that firm is finished for now. Karen also expressed interest in moving on from such a job, further showcasing just how "in over his head" Matt currently is.

I think that's part of where this episode and this season is losing me. I'm still invested in everything that's going on, but there comes a point where there is just too much happening to create one cohesive story. Plus, with the further revelations with Stick and the ongoing Punisher conflict, it really makes me wonder how they will end this season. Only one way to find out.

+More Punisher/Daredevil conflict

+Elektra v Stick

-A lot going on can get overwhelmingly

Trail of spilled coffee and dirty laundry.

Warning: Spoilers
Tonight is the story of two vigilantes finding their ways to the promised heroin land. Meanwhile, the two other female supports are feeling the repercussion of their respective involvement. Honestly, the Punisher's side is more appealing, that's not to say Daredevil has lost a step, but at this moment Punisher's interaction with Karen, as well as his fight, is more pronounced.

Daredevil goes into another manhunt into familiar Triad territory after his encounter with ninjas. It's not bad and the appearance of old character is intriguing, but it is a repeated backtrack to known territory. Claire suffers the consequences of harboring illicit patients. An ample amount of time is given for this administrative cover-up, resulting in termination of her profession. It may be a set-up for more involvement with Murdock later for more subplot.

The diner part with Frank and Karen is very well done. It's a highly personal banter, in one scene Frank just opens up for both their benefits. Karen has been rather indecisive lately and the serving of truth pie from Frank is crude yet necessary awakening. The fights is also delightful, it has a brutal execution and torture while still keeping it manageable in tight spaces.

Daredevil benefits a lot from Punisher, he's a worthy rival and he changes Murdock and people around him on personal level, even makes them sympathize with his crazy crusade. It's more than Fisk was able to do, at the very least he presents another depth to the series. The decision to progress with Punisher is the most enhancement the series could hope for.

Some good stuff
Leofwine_draca8 November 2021
Some really good stuff in this gritty episode. The boat set-piece at the climax is inevitably the highlight but there are lots of other tense moments too. Hints of conspiracy and mystery engage the brain as well as the senses and it all feels like it gels together very nicely.

Good chapter. We see much more of the punisher, and the search for Daredevil that came to an end. It only remains to fight the war.

The war is coming
guilhermejunior1 April 2016
Warning: Spoilers
After Frank Castle got trapped in an exploding ship and Claire quit her job at the Metro General Hospital, it becomes clear that the big final war between the Daredevil and "The Hand" is coming. In this episode, once more, we get a closer look to the operation that might bring people back to life, and to the heroin operation leaded by "Blacksmith", the man behind the assassination of the Punisher's family. This episode also connects the show with the first season, by introducing M. Gao into the operation. The final scene indicates a big disagreement between Stick and Elektra, which adds Elektra to the list of main characters in danger, to join Frank Castle and Karen Page. Overall it was a good episode, which follows a great storyline, and leaves the viewers at the edge of their seats, while awaiting the final confrontation.

Ok Episode [7/10]

Warning: Spoilers
Live Reaction / Review for Daredevil Season 2 Episode 11: Episode 10 was amazing, I hope this one is good too. The ninjas are coming! The episode starts with a really good fight scene. Karen working with Frank, that's interesting. So this episode is all about finding the ''Blacksmith''. Frank destroyed these guys. Some cool fight scenes with Frank. This guy can't be the Blacksmith no way, it would be too easy. Frank is right, when you cross that line (killing) there is no going back. I enjoy the scenes with Matt and Frank. I really don't understand why we need Stick and Elektra, both are have become annoying. Overall it's a mediocre episode with some good moments. The previous 2 episodes were much much better. My rating is 7/10.
