1991's "Metallica: Enter Sandman" is a staple video a highly memorable one as the words go along so well with the images of the music video. This is maybe one of the best heavy metal clips ever made. It's clear it's about a young man running from escape a nightmare that he can not hide from! Is it the cruel reality of growing up and facing being a teen and dealing with life and fate, or is it his own inner demons of his mind playing tricks on him like snakes under his bed or demons in his head or something in his closet. Wow crazy and a little scary just like a fright film from the early 80's. The booming thunder of rock guitar play from Kirk Hammett and strong words from James Hetfield move the video along just perfect. Overall a heavy metal image that's a gem.
