And this refers to Fiona Apple's singing as well as Paul Thomas Anderson's direction for this 3-minute music video from 15 years ago. Apple was in her early 20s at this point, while Anderson was in his late 20s. The two were still a couple at this point and that is why one of the finest directors of our generation worked on several music videos from the fairly well-known singer. In my opinion, neither the song is too catchy, not what we see is really memorable. It's typical late 90s stuff that does unfortunately not stand out for any reason. Anderson has done a lot better on several occasions and same can probably be said about Fiona Apple. Not recommended.
