Wedding Day Sale is a Bridezilla-centric episode that gets to the core and fabrics, mainly from the bride (female) perspective. One controversial sub-plot in Wedding Day Sale dealt with same-sex marriage, with senior manager Glenn (Mark McKinney) getting into drawing assumptions about same-sex marriage between males that got him in uncomfortably hot water with Mateo (Nico Santos) that was kind of drawing on tropes that Superstore handled with humor and not wanting to cancel anyone.
