We continue to ask why. Players not there before, are now appearing. It turns out that Jesse's birth father wasn't the same father shared with Mark. It was due to a brief encounter with his mother. As soon as this is brought to the fore, a whole group of possibilities occur, with Danny and Mark heading to a farmhouse, looking for this guy. Anna and Pru start to do some work of their own. Pru confesses her love for Mark and he is lukewarm (rightfully so) considering her behavior and her self pity). There is a really amazing discovery at the close of the episode. At times it seems we are being manipulated, but isn't that the gift of the mystery writing. Harlan Coben is one of the best at what he does.
