I thought it was a really good ending. I read all the book, and in the TV show it looks like they are speeding things up a little bit. The ending was a little bit different, but I don't really care, I liked what they did. I like things that make me interesting, and changing the story a little bit will make people that read the books not able to know everything that is going to happen. They included the important parts. The incest plot, Valentine chasing the cup, Jace and his "darknes". Let's now hope that they do a second season even better. And if you are not happy with the TV show, try to think about Percy Jackson's adaptations and try to be!

Not much of a cliffhanger here. Nothing that made me feel, "Oh, wow, can't wait til the new season starts.". Quite the opposite. I'm not sure what the standards are of the other reviewers are who are acclaiming this series, this episode, but watching this series and then reading the reviews, makes me think that they must be easily entertained. Watch this if there's nothing better available on Netflix (and right now, there's not, sadly). The writing and character development continues to be substandard.
