The More You Ignore Me - S07E06

It's charming to see the subtlety in the similarities between Jay and Phil, and why the chemistry between Phil and Claire is so strong. In this episode we see Jay reminisce about how he became a successful businessman, carefully orchestrating events to get people what they want without forcing them into it, and the parallels of Phil as a younger version of Jay fighting to prove the naysayers wrong. While O'Neill is excellent in his overseeing role, it is once again Burrell in a scene stealing turn as Phil that keeps the interest as the episode progresses. Another strong episode, "The More You Ignore Me" is a fitting insight into the inner workings of the family and, despite how much the characters may disagree, how alike they can be at times.

Another fun episode of the show, with all the stories working well for me.

I don't think the show really knew where it was heading with the whole Haley/Andy storyline, and this was a bit muddled though.

Mitch's career seemed to be another ongoing thing they couldn't work out either.

This remains a lot of fun though, with some lovely moments.

A very poor episode that modern family decided to steer into for some reason starting in...I cant remember...season 7..maybe season 6?

I'm not sure which episode marked the "end" of modern family...but at this point....episodes will be, per season, 50% unwatchable...10% actually enjoyable...and 40% not good overall episodes but some funny parts. This show has stopped being reliably funny. Odds of any episode being enjoyable at this point are probably about 30 to 40%...and that's being generous
